Nestled amidst a lush green canopy, Christ King Girls’ Higher Secondary School stands as a torchbearer of education and empowerment on the Velachery-Tambaram Highway, just minutes from theTambaram railway station. Founded by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters, our school was started in 1940 with a singular mission to educate and empower the girl child.
From humble beginnings with just 87 students in 1935, our institution has flourished over 91 years (1935-2025), now nurturing nearly 3,000 students from Std VI to Std XII
